Just a message to see if we could reorganize our meeting this week.
Because of the public holiday, work wants me to do a practice run through for a competition on Friday. Just dropping you a Line to see if it would be possible to met later today (Thursday), or a brief correspondence over the comments on the blog instead of the meeting. I’m about to add the past weeks work to the blog for your review, if you would like a day off on Friday. I’ll include the direction I’m about to take, It will mostly be writing the ‘Project Progress Report”. I plan to get it finished fairly early in the week.
Feel free to give me a call. I’ll add this message to the blog in case the Email fails.

Haven't received your email yet, but got notification of this in my feed reader straight away! Happy to skip our meeting and work online for a bit. Working on your report is a good thing to focus on at the moment. As soon as you have a draft of it please send to me for feedback/comments.
