Gesture Notaions

A list if possible basis for the movement notation. Each has their own positives and negatives.
some can be written easily, easily understood and perform the actions, and leave no ambiguity about the movement desired.
Stuff to do:
Check what chiropractors use.

Stokoe notation - a written from of sign language
http://www.speakeasy.org/~mamandel/ASCII-Stokoe.txt
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stokoe_notation
easy to reproduce and respresent

Benesh movement notation - a dance notation using abstract version of the body
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benesh_movement_notation
easy to understand

Bartenieff - laban extended analysis method based on human movement
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartenieff_Fundamentals
http://www.peabody.jhu.edu/data/28/link/1189/Laban-Bartenieff.pdf
used in massage and physiotherapy.
big list of terms (horizontal, vertical, sagittal planes)
can be reduced to actions such as glide and pinch, which can be explained. I.e does not need knowledge of system to use.

Labanoation - Kinetography laban (European, created by a Slovac) standard for recording and analyzing human movement - very complex and abstract.
http://user.uni-frankfurt.de/~griesbec/LABANE.HTML

Includes both the movement and the effort to perform the movement
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labanotation

very complex
very big
must learn the notation before being able to replicate movements
